Brazzle "June" Knight, Jr.

Mr. Brazzle “June” Knight, Jr., 86, died on Monday, November 28, 2022.  Born, December 7, 1935, in Bennettsville, SC, he was a son of the late Brazzle Knight, Sr. and that late Willie Robinson Knight.  Mr. Knight was a member of Ghio Church of God of Prophecy in Hamlet, NC, and enjoyed hunting.  He was a very hard worker and enjoyed farming and livestock.

Along with his parents, listed above, June was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Chavis; brothers, James Knight, and Dennis Knight; and sisters, Jean Quick, and Willie Mae Quick.

Mr. Knight leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 67 years, Lucy Knight of the home; a son, Rickie Knight of Wallace, SC; daughters, Sandy Quick (Billy Joe) of Wallace, SC, Debbie Polson (Roy) of Wallace, SC, and Tyla Quick of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Chris Spivey (Toni), Courtney Meers (Matthew), Joe Quick (Jessica), Brooke Quick, Donnie “Dec” Chavis, III (MaKayla Ricketts), and Jordan Heffner (Catie); and eleven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow in Ghio Church of God Cemetery in Hamlet, NC.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. just prior to the service on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
