Benjamin Thomas "Tommy" Harpe, Jr. , 58, died Sunday, June 10, 2012. Born in Chesterfield, SC he was a son of Sue Curry Harpe of Cheraw, SC and the late Benjamin Thomas Harpe, Sr. He was co-owner of Harpe Family Motors and had been a part of that business for over 33 plus years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, friends and having a barbeque and fish fry for all of them. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and going to church. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Graves Harpe of the home. Justin James(Heather) Harpe of Florence, SC, grandchildren, Karley Savannah Harpe, Justin James Harpe, Jr., Megan Thompson Loflin, his mother listed above, a brother, Mitchell (Teresa) Harpe of Cheraw, SC, sisters, Terri H. (Joey) Polson of Cheraw, SC, Donna H. (Dean) Smith of Murrells Inlet, SC. He was preceded in death by his father listed above and a son, Benjamin Thomas Harpe, III.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Lower Macedonia Baptist Church, Chesterfield, SC.
