Anthony Ryan Butler, 39, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of the late Phyllis and Artemus Butler, Jr. He attended Marlboro County Schools. A dedicated worker in the construction field, Anthony was renowned for his exceptional skill in floor and tile work. His family cherished him deeply.

He is lovingly remembered by a sister, Hazel (Robert) Edwards of Bennettsville, SC, a brother, Artemus (Dusty) Butler, III of Wallace, SC, and a sister, Lisa (Chad) Butler of Cheraw, SC, his four children, six nieces and nephews, one great nephew and one great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Amanda Butler and a niece, Whitley Edwards.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Bennettsville Church of God.
