Cheraw, SC

Annie Sue Childers, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Born, September 5, 1938, in Chesterfield, SC she was a daughter of the late Craig and Daisy Inez Brock Honeycutt.

Sue was a dedicated member of Midway Baptist Church and spent many years working at Weller Industries in Cheraw, SC. She enjoyed watching wrestling, NASCAR, and game shows.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Charles “Charlie” Adam Childers; and her sister, Betty Alline Nicholson.

Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Danny Charles Childers (Anne) of Cheraw, SC and Dennis Adam Childers (Vicky Jean) of Patrick, SC; her daughter, Robin Lynn Bryant (Jeffrey) of Pageland, SC; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
