     Ruth Elizabeth Turner, 96, died Sunday May 13, 2018. Born in Marlboro County June 1, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Frank Marvin and Delia Crouch Cranford, Sr., and was the widow of Belvin Turner. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. In the past she was a member of the United Methodist Women and she enjoyed going with her group of friends to the local nursing homes and singing for the residents. She also enjoyed camping and going to gospel singing events in the mountains with her beloved husband.

     Ruth is survived by daughters, JoAnn (David) Buckliew, Carolyn Turner, Mary Ruth Osburn, Teresa (Ronnie) Ward, All of Wallace, SC, Katherine (Mike) Teal of Chesterfield, SC, and Lisa (Ray) Woodley of Cheraw, SC. Sons, Charles Turner, Sammy (Sybil) Turner of Bennettsville, SC, and D.T. (Judy) Turner of Wallace, SC. A sister, Edith Quick of Cheraw, SC.

     Grandchildren, James Edward (Stephen Holder) Davis Jr., Amanda Ruth (Doug) Carabo, Tara Turner Harpe, Cortnei (Patrick) McLeod, Brian Ward, Justin (Jenni) Turner, Dr. John Michael Teal Jr., Alex Riley (Paige) Teal, Dylan (Paige) Ward, Christin (Hope) Lide, Daniel Lide, Jeremy Rhyne.

     Great Grandchildren, Payton, Chloe and Collin McLeod, Alayna and Zach Carabo, Brianna, And Mariah Ward, Elijah Lide, Grayson and Jett Turner, Killian Teal, and Adrian Ward.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, and parents listed above. Son-in-laws, Abraham Knight, and Kenneth Osburn. Brothers, Frank Marvin Cranford, Jr., Arace Cranford, Thomas Cranford, John Cranford, and Bill Cranford. Sisters, Ethel Baker, Myrtle Kelly, and Joyce Colley.

     The family will receive friends 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 prior to the funeral service at 12:00 PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC. Burial will follow the funeral service at Grant-Turner Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, c/o Gordon Chavis, P.O. Box 377, Wallace, SC 29596.
