Anna Powe Owens Linton, 31, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 28th, 2018. Born in Camden, SC, she was the cherished daughter of Dr. Richard Owens and Susan Huggins Owens of Cheraw, SC.
Surviving is her husband, John Linton, of Cheraw, SC and her beloved dog Penny. Also her parents as listed above, brothers Franklin Owens of Cheraw, SC, Wilson Owens (Sheena) of Sumter, SC, and a sister, Jessica Owens Shepard (Phillip) of Cheraw, SC. Also sister-in-law, Victoria Vooge (Tyson) of Wenatchee, Washington, maternal grandmother Susan Powe Huggins of Cheraw, SC, Aunt Gary Huggins Jeffcoat (Uncle Jay), and Uncles Earl Huggins, Jr. and John Huggins Her nieces and nephews include: Addison Vooge, Everly Vooge, Kiersten Shepard, Vance Vooge, Lawson Shepard, and Carter Shepard.
Preceding her in death were Uncle Frank Owens, paternal grandparents, Winston and Anna E. Owens, maternal grandfather Earl Huggins Sr., beloved great Aunt Charlotte Bourne, father-in-law Don Linton, and mother-in-law Sandy Carpenter Linton.
Anna was a graduate of Northeastern Technical College and was a veterinary assistant. She had a great love for travel, spending time at the beach, and in the mountains. She enjoyed antiquing, going to the park, and taking Penny for long rides. Anna loved spending time outdoors: hunting, fishing, riding her Daddy's tractor, cutting grass, and boating.
The family will receive friends and family at the St. David's Parish House on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
The service will follow at 2:00p.m. in the sanctuary.
Burial will take place at Old St. David's cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. David's Church or School, St. David's Cemetery Association, or the Chesterfield County Humane Society.
